RN Labor & Delivery

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team in New York. This role involves providing comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across varying levels of risk in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients (high, moderate, and low risk).
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
3. Deliver patient- and family-centered care with strong clinical judgment.
4. Prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced setting.
5. Float across OB/GYN units based on patient volume and acuity needs.
6. Maintain competency across various OB care models and delivery methods.

Qualifications:

1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
2. Minimum of two (2) years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
3. Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.

Preferred Experience:

1. Operating Room (OR) experience.
2. OB triage experience.

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 4 Days per Week | Rotating Shifts

Required Certifications:

1. BLS (American Heart Association only).
2. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
