Level 3 RN – Endoscopy/GI

We’re seeking an experienced Level 3 Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy/GI team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and skilled in providing high-quality care throughout the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure process.

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to patient inquiries and address concerns
2. Observe and document patient vital signs
3. Administer sedation prior to procedures
4. Monitor and recover patients post-procedure
5. Administer prescribed medications and IV drips
6. Complete all required documentation, including patient notes and discharge instructions
7. Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedural supplies
8. Clean and sterilize equipment before each use
9. Provide hands-on assistance to physicians during GI procedures

Requirements:

1. Current and valid NY Registered Nurse license (no exceptions)
2. American Heart Association BLS Certification (AHA only)
3. Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience
4. Telemetry experience required

Schedule:

1. On-call required for overnight and weekend rotations
2. Scheduling options: 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts
