We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center in Rochester, NY. This role offers exposure to a diverse surgical caseload and advanced technology, including Da Vinci robotic systems and a comprehensive transplant program.
Schedule & Requirements:
- Rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts
- On-call and callback required
- Weekend and holiday coverage required based on unit needs
- Floating required as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in the operating room across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Perform both scrub and circulating duties
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all surgical protocols

Minimum Requirements:
- Active RN License – New York State (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years Operating Room experience (Level 1 Trauma experience preferred)
- Ability to scrub and circulate cases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Telemetry experience (highly desired)
- Experience with complex surgical cases including:
- Transplants
- Plastics/Reconstructive procedures
- Craniotomy
- Strong Orthopedic background
Certifications:
- BLS – American Heart Association (Required)
- ACLS (Preferred)
